Go ahead... Turn it up!
You know that feeling you get when you hear a great song...the one that makes you start to tap your toe, then wiggle your foot and before you know it you might be singing out loud. Well, that is the feeling that Music for a Cure is bringing to critically ill children who are so desperately in need of something to lift their spirits, like music does for all of us every day.
Music for a Cure is a small, non profit organization established to bring music to critically ill children. Our organization was founded in April, 2002, in the memory of Ryan Michael Bates who lost his battle against Cancer in December of 2001.
Music for a Cure's mission is to bring the healing power of music to critically ill children through delivering individual instruments as well as supporting music therapists and music therapy program's at children's hospitals.
If you know a child who could benefit from our program, please contact us using the address below or through our Contact page.
We are always in need of musical equipment, financial contributions, music cds, compact disc players and photos and posters of well known artists.
From everyone at Music for a Cure, Thank You!

I'm overwhelmed by the wonderful gift your organization presented to me. I have never owned my own instrument in the 7 years that I have played. |

Thank you for the drum pads that you gave me. Now that I have the pads, it helps me with my depression by making music. |

Thank you for all the stuff. It's just incredible and awesome that you've pretty much dedicated your time to making kids happy by bringing them music. I'm very glad and honored to have been or to be part of one of those lucky people who get to have this experience. |
